Starting at Leeds City Square, the Leeds City Centre Self Guided Tour is a fun way to find out more about the people, and places that made Leeds what it is today! Stopping at landmarks around the city, local expert Mike narrates you through interesting information and fun facts. From the grand opening of the Civic Hall and drama involving the Queen that day, to the English Civil War battle on Briggate, there are lots of stories to tell on this tour.

Stops also include a short guide as to what you can find nearby and there is an optional multiple-choice quiz challenge throughout, which makes you explore stops more closely to find the answers. For those with a competitive streak, register for the quiz challenge leaderboard to see how you compare against others.

Once a ticket has been bought or a code redeemed, you can re-visit this map anytime until your pass expires. To participate on this tour, a smart phone or tablet is required. For full functionality, once installed please allow the app to use your location on the smart device.

This is a family-friendly tour with an accessible route option included and has something for everyone to enjoy. If you plan to complete this tour in one attempt, please allow for 2.5 hours.
